PERARAKAN MAAL HIJRAH DARI DATARAN MERDEKA KE MASJID NEGARA

PAGI-pagi tadi penulis sudahpun merempit ke Dataran Merdeka untuk merakamkan perarakan sambutan Awal Muharram atau Maal Hijrah. Perarakan yang bermula jam 7.40 pagi ke Masjid Negara. (Total photos 45 frames)

Awal Muharram atau Maal Hijrah merupakan suatu hari yang penting bagi umat Islam kerana menandakan peristiwa penting yang berlaku dalam sejarah Islam iaitu memperingati penghijrahan Nabi Muhammad s.a.w dari Kota Makkah ke Madinah pada tahun 622 Masihi. Peristiwa bersejarah itu berlaku pada 1 Muharam tahun baru bagi Takwim Hijrah.
