DIMANA ANDA MENCARI POSKAD DI ALOR SETAR

CikMaiBee and Gunung Keriang (Mount Keriang) is a 250 million year old lump of mainly limestone rock which is said to be in the shape of an elephant and reaches a height of 218 meters. It is located about 8 km north-west of Alor Setar close to the Kedah Paddy Museum. It is geologically unique and ten different rocks are found here including attractive calcite crystals which are much sought after by collectors and fung-shui believers. 3lalatphotography.

Jam 7.33am, pagi Ahad penulis sudah berlarian ke Jalan Gunung Keriang yang agak jauh dari kota mencari sarapan. Gara-gara mengikut entri blogger pernah mencuba sarapan sedap disini. Penulis tiba di restoran Roti Doll Mee Shiam yang popular itu walaupun indah khabar dari rupa. Rupa-rupanya hanyalah kedai mamak yang biasa-biasa. Layan sahajalah, yang penting isteri penulis tidak meroyan.

Jam 9.30am, sudah mengambil anak lanang di Kolej Mara Kuala Nerang.

Jam 10.40am, tiba dan melawat Muzium Padi. Kedai cenderamata yang baru ditukar pengurusan tidak menjual poskad. "Kami jual kraftangan je wak," kata abam tuan punya kedai itu.

Jam 12.51pm, tiba dan melawat Muzium Negeri. Tiada kedai cenderamata, dan poskad tidak dijual disini.

Jam 1.21pm, tiba di pusat beli belah Aman Central. Makan di restoran Sushi King sudah.

Jam 3.33pm, balik ke hotel bajet (Hijrah), lepak dan istirehat.

Jam 4.14pm, periksa keluar (check out) walaupun penulis bayar sehingga esoknya. Penulis terus ke pekan Kuala Nerang untuk menghantar anak lanang bergunting di belakang restoran KFC.

Jam 6.06pm, dari asrama kolej Kuala Nerang, penulis terus berlarian ke Lapangan Terbang Kepala Batas. Nasib baiklah juga ada kedi cenderahati disitu dan ada menjual poskad. Tapi bukanlah poskad negeri Kedah seperti yang penulis cari. "Lima keping empat hinggit wak," kata ahkak kaunter. Penulis beli 25 keping sudah.

Kemudian penulis terus pulang ke Bangi dimalam hari yang sibuk di lebuhraya.

Selepas sarapan lontong masai, penulis pun berlarian ke tempat tugasan memotong rumput.

Tiba-tiba isteri penulis (yang itu) menelefon dan berkata dia terlibat dalam kemalangan. Habislah cikbibah pepel itu - siapalah tak sayang bini, tapi ada mkcik kann, kanns. Lalu penulis pun terus ke tempat kejadian tersebut. Lima buah kereta sedang bercium bontot ke bontot, pipi ke pipi. Aduhai.

Dengan arahan tidak boleh membawa kereta ke dalam kawasan parkir balai walaupun ruang parkir punyalah besar semedang. "Wak bukan pegawai penyiasat kan? Wak kene parking kat luar tepi longkang, tapi jangan parkir kat line double kuning ya," perintah abam polis penjaga pintu masuk yang sedang pegang senapang m16 itu. Begitu juga dgn sarjan yang bertugas tak dapat dihubungi itu walaupun sudah hampir sejam menunggu, "mukin sedang naik motor, mukin tengah dalam dewan bicara mahkamah ada kes, dia off tefon," kata ahkak polis kaunter. "Mukin sarjan dah kene langgar lori masa naik motor tu," getus penulis dalam hati sahaja.

Abang ahKuang tunda trak ikut saja kemana kami pergi sebab berharap kereta yang rosak akan masuk ke bengkelnya.

Isteri penulis (yang itu) kehilangan iphone nya juga semasa sibuk panik kehulu kehilir tadi. Salah letak dimana kemana.

Malamnya, bila penulis bertanya kepada isteri (yang itu), beliau pun memberitahu yang abang ahKuang trak tunda akan kawtim dan minum kopi dengan sarjan polis pasal kes kemalangan itu pada malam ini juga. Good lah.

SELAMAT PAGI MASAI

Masai this morning.

Sarapan lontong biasa pagi tadi di restoran Zarahman Masai.

Tengahari ke BSN Bukit Dahlia untuk menebus Sijil Simpanan Premium (SSP). Setelah diperiksa dikaunter, tiadalah lagi sijil-sijil SSP atas nama penulis yang menang cabutan bertuah rm1 juta. "Rejeki Wak takde lagi lah," kata cik adik manis kaunter yang bila senyum nampaklah gigi taringnya yang berlapis.

Dan bibik penulis akan kembali ke pulau Jawa minggu hadapan dan langsung ke Timur Leste. Mungkin tiada lagi bibik lain untuk menjaga rumah dan anak lanang bocah cilik selepas ini.

PANTUN MINYAK PETROL NAIK

Salam pagi Ahad. Hari ini sudah tahun baharu. Selamat tahun baharu lah.

Semalam penulis sudah terlupa hendak mengisi minyak walaupun penulis diberitahu bahawa harga minyak akan naik 40 sen. Aiyah.

Hari ini terpaksalah penulis mengisi minyak juga. Nasib baik naik 20 sen walaupun harga minyak mentah seantero dunia semakin naik melebihi paras 50 US dollar setong. Dan bila penulis mengisi sebanyak 38 liter minyak ron95, selepas dikira2, penulis kerugian rm7.60 sahaja. Padan muka penulis.

Berakit-rakit ke hulu,
Berenang-renang ke tepian,
Minyak RON97 naik dahulu,
Minyak RON95 naik kemudian.

Cerita lain lalat. Pagi-pagi tadi selepas menghantar anak wedok ke sekolah menengahnya, penulis bertanyalah dengan isteri (yang itu) samada beliau hendak membuat sarapan atau pun tidak. Kalau tidak, penulis hendak keluar bersarapan di kedai mamak sahaja. "Kanda keluar lah!" titah permaisuri itu yang masih terbongkang diperaduannya sambil menekan-nekan skrin Samsung S7 edge yang masih baharu dibelinya.

Assalamualaikum dan salam pagi jumaat semua kawan-kawan penulis lah.

HAMPIR separuh dari harga sarapan di bilik makanan (baca: pantry) kak Uda (bukan nama sebenar) sudah naik lima posen. Dan penulis tidak baharu tahu nama buah kak Uda (dibawah) yang selalu ada di meja tempat letak makanan ini. Namanya buah delima (baca: Pomegranate).

Nota lalat. Updated. Gambiran aiskrim Nestle diatas penulis baru beli dari kedai tujuh sebelas (baca: 7 eleven) dan ingin cuba merasa perisa Kit kat green tea dan ada sebatang coklat wafer didalamnya. Mungkin ada orang lain yang minat, tapi penulis rasa inilah kali terakhir penulis membelinya.

Rumah panjang terbakar, Ustaz Kazim menjawab.

KELMARIN semasa penulis sedang sibuk ke hulu hilir melayan urusan jual beli flat rumah murah itu, penulis terperasan ada berita tentang kebakaran rumah panjang berdekatan dengan kampung mertua penulis disana. Bila pulang ke rumah, isteri penulis (yang itu) pun ada bertanya berkenaan rumah panjang tersebut yang kami pernah ziarah sebab ada kaum kerabat ipar duai disana juga. Rumah panjang tersebut semasa itu sedang dinaiktaraf separuh dengan batu konkrit, tidak seperti rumah panjang biasa yang diperbuat dari kayu hutan saja.

Semalam penulis telah membawa keratan akhbar Utusan Malaysia ke tempat penulis bertugas memotong rumput ini. Penulis tunjukkan pada rakan sekerja, akak Noor (bukan nama sebenar) yang rumahnya juga sepelaung berdekatan dengan simpang Nyabor, tempat penulis selalu membeli sarapan kuih muih Melayu disitu. Akak Noor pun terkejut juga.

Nota lalat lain. Dulu bila penulis mendengar cerita Ustaz Duke merajuk tidak mahu membuat ceramah lagi, penulis sanggup ke maktab beliau mengajar di Tanjung Rambutan dan berselfie dengan beliau. [+ Duke vs Duke.] Tapi sejak kebelakangan ini, banyak pula ceramah-ceramah beliau hampir setiap minggu berdekatan sepelaung saja dari tempat penulis tinggal. Walaupun begitu, tidaklah terpanggil hati penulis untuk menghadiri majlis-majlis ilmu beliau kerana kesibukan masa.

TANPA WAS WAS

SUDAH lama saya tidak bersarapan di kantin bangunan Tabung Haji itu. Hiasan kafe yang serba baru. Harga yang sentiasa mahal. Lontongnya pun tidak kurang hebat juga. Mestilah semuanya digantung ditanggung halal bukan? Masih was-was?
